Scholarships
Apply for a Wright County Fair Scholarship
The Wright County Fair Board will award up to three $500 scholarships across the county with each year. Each winner will receive payment after January 15th with proof of post-secondary education 2.0 GPA or higher at the end of their first semester and enrollment for the second semester.
Criteria & Eligibility
- Applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school in Wright County, Iowa
- Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited school or institute within one year. of high school graduation
- Applicant must have had a significant influence/participation in the Wright County Fair within the past three years with a minimum of four years of participation
- Family members of teh Wright County Fair Board members are eligible to apply
- The applicant must submit the completed and signed application by March 31st (postmarked) to: Wright County Fair – Scholarship Committee, PO Box 125, Eagle Grove, IA 50533
- The applicant must submit one letter of recommendation from a Wright County resident (not employed with the school district and not a member of the Wright County Fair Board) in an envelope sealed by the writer along with their application
- The Scholarship committee may request to interview the scholarship applicant prior to making their award selection
