Woodcarving and the Quilt Auction held on Monday, July 12th.

Duane Nelson our wood carver worked throughout the fair to carve 16 sculptures. The sculptures were auctioned to pay for the woodcarver  and fair ground improvements. The quilt class was new to the fair this year. 30 people were sent kits with  material and were asked to create  a patriotic quilt square. The blocks were then sewn together and  quilted by Carol Severson and Sandy Pluff. The proceeds from the quilt  will be used for fair ground improvements. The new class was very well  received this first year and will continue next year. Karen  Stadtlander's quilt block received the purple rosette by popular vote  of all fair-goers.

Gold-Eagle Coop's Electric Department helped our grounds and
maintenance, Craig Warnke install the lights on the grounds this year.
The fair board appreciates the time and expertise they volunteered to us.
